Overview:

The agricultural education degree program provides students with the opportunity to combine an interest in agriculture, food and natural resources with their enjoyment of working and communicating with people. Professionals in Agricultural Education combine their interests in agriculture and teaching in order to mold the next generation's understanding of agriculture and its role in society. They often use their communication and human relation skills to obtain leadership roles in many agricultural industries.

Admission Requirements:



Students may enter the Agricultural Education program as a new student. Transfer students from other academic degree programs at the University of Missouri or from other colleges and universities must have a 2.3 cumulative GPA for all courses attempted.

Minimum GPA for Admission: 2.3

Specifically required non-major courses for the BS degree:
Teacher Development Program:
TDP (Teacher Development Program) 2000

Leadership Emphasis:
Psychology 1000.
